These NBXs can be incorporated into feed, feed additives, water, or egg-based applications.  Once in the environment NBXs are nontoxic, biodegraded, have no off-target issues and most importantly, do not have a negative impact on the animal, farm, or environment. When NBXs are not protecting against disease, they are digested and act as a small source of protein.
